We had hoped for better conditions for this weekend but as usual we'd missed the best of the recent snow by the time we could get away for a couple of days.  We planned to get some practice in for our forthcoming ski-backpacking trip to Norway in March.  We got some practice side-slipping & skinning!
We made the most of with a good night out in Aviemore on Sunday & came away with a quality kids sledge that we hope to turn into a budget pulk! (Ross Mellows)
